Getting involved at Kirkplace

This section is particularly for those who've decided to make Kirkplace their church family. We want to be a place where the love of God overflows within us, and out to others, our community and our world. This means getting into the lives of others, serving with the gifts entrusted to us by God, and making sure there is observable and growing progress. To help achieve this, three documents are listed below for you to download and fill out:

filetype_pdfKirkplace Commitment Form (fillable)

This is the most important form, for you to rethink and renew how you'd like to commit to the vision of Kirkplace in personal, financial and serving ways. It is for you to fill out and submit to your KirkGroup leader, or your Kirkplace leadership. We especially ask you fill this out and hand it on Commitment Sunday, which this year is on Sunday November 13th.

filetype_pdfKirkplace Ministry Teams

At Kirkplace, we encourage you to join one Ministry team and one Sunday roster as a norm to aim for (however, of course, some will need to do less and some might have the capacity to do more - feel free to let us know if either of these scenarios describe you!). This document lists the various ministry teams that lead Kirkplace in brainstorming, planning, and implementing ways to fulfill its vision. They also describe the commitment levels expected when joining such a team.

filetype_pdfKirkplace Sunday Rosters

This document, on the whole, lists the various ways you can get involved on a Sunday, so that we might continue to be a place where God's love overflows. We want to build a culture where those involved on a Sunday roster are not merely doing a scheduled task, but really take ownership in continual fellowship and improvement with others in their roster. It's fun to get involved and to serve joyfully together!

If you are unsure about where you feel you're best suited to serve, and would like to be contacted about this, please email dan.au@kirkplace.org.au.

filetype_pdfOverflowing Generosity

At Kirkplace, we believe that God's love overflows into our lives, enabling us to overflow with generosity towards others. He owns every aspect of our lives, including the way we use the money entrusted to us. This document was written by one of our elders, Murray Smith, to help us think about God's generosity and how it affects us down to the very cent.
