Stephen Thompson, ElderI've been married to my gorgeous wife Catherine for 12 years and God has blessed us with 2 boys, Oli (6) and Harper (4) and a little girl named Adelaide (1). I teach economics to the fine young men at The Scots College where I am also a housemaster. Serving at Kirkplace has been an enormous blessing for my family. We are a small part of a great kingdom ruled by an amazing God. As an elder at Kirkplace I want to see people challenged and changed by the abundant love of Jesus. |

Murray Smith, ElderI'm married to the beautiful Lynette and God has blessed us with four great kids. During the week I teach the Bible at the Presbyterian Theological Centre. It's a real privilege to play a part in training the next generation of leaders for God's church. I also help to direct Groundwork, an evangelical training network that equips God's people to live for Jesus in every sphere of life. I love the grace-filled community God is creating at Kirkplace. As an elder at the church I'm praying that we will all be more deeply gripped by God's love for us in Jesus, and growing more in our love for him, his people, and his world. |
